The easiest way to get from St Peter's Square to the Vatican Museums is to go to Piazza del Risorgimento. From there, continue walking along the Vatican wall, and then turn left again onto Viale Vaticano until you reach the entrance to the Vatican Museums.

You can take personal photos in the Vatican Museums but not in the Sistine Chapel. Additionally, visitors must silently enter the Sistine Chapel to respect the religious space.
